This is the hack that never went online and why many people never made into real business… they never had a credit card.

The truth about me is that I never ever registered a domain by using a credit card. I don’t even have one. So what’s my secret? A lot of people actually have money in their paypal as a balance but don’t have a credit card so that they can register a domain. If this is your case then this article will save your life.

First of all you’ll need around 10 bucks as a paypal balance to register one. The secret is not actually a secret. It’s called “namecheap”. Sounds familiar? Well, that’s actually one of the biggest domain registers around but it can register a domain of any kind without a credit card verified paypal. You don’t need to have a bank account either. First of all head over http://namecheap.com. You will need an account. Unless you already have one click on the “Sign up for a free account” link under the login form. Then enter some details.

Now, I assume you already have an account and you are logged in. You’ll see this page:

namecheap

Click on the “add funds to your account” link. You will then be taken to another page. Then click “add funds with paypal”. You will then again be taken to another page where you need to enter the amount to add. You need to add money depending on how much you want to spend. I usually add $9.70 which is enough to register a .com domain. The rest is your information. Just leave it as it is. Then click “proceed to paypal”. You will be redirected to paypal. Then you know the procedure. Just pay and you’ll be redirected back to your account. Under Funds you’ll notice the amount of money you just added. You can now register your domain with the funds available. From the top menu select the register button. Enter the domain you want to register in the search box and you’ll be taken to another page where they’ll confirm if it’s available to register. If it’s available select the “add to cart” button. You’ll be taken to the page where you can purchase the domain with your balance available. You may have a coupon that will cut off the register fee for about a dollar but it’s not necessary though. Then click the “express checkout” button. You’ll be taken to a page where you should select the “buy using the funds available in your account”. Then click the “proceed secure order” and enter your account password as they need it. You will now have your domain registered and added to your account. The whole process shouldn’t take more than 3 minutes.

Congratulations! Now you know how to register a domain even if you don’t have a credit card or bank account.

When joining the blogging kingdom membership site you did a huge step into starting a blogging empire business. I am now going to show you some great methods that I am using, all tested and will surely work for any kind of blog. Try out the ones that you think will work best.

Linking

Every good blogger links to other blogs. Link to other posts and they will mostly link back. Do link exchanges with other blogs that are popular. Don’t take every spammy “can we exchange links” email that arrives.

Banner Exchanging

You can always exchange banners with other fellow bloggers that will gladly do that. Also you could buy some advertising space on famous blogs in your niche to target the right traffic and get some real visits.

Yahoo Answers

Answer on many yahoo answers question. Go to answers.yahoo.com and start posting comments. Include helpful comments and a backlink to your site. I usually open up notepad, write my signature and then save and copy is. After each reply I paste it. Reply to 1000 questions and you’ll see real traffic.

Commenting

I shouldn’t mention how great blog commenting is. Hundreds of bloggers gather on some famous post and read comments. Also there are “Top Commentator” lists on many blogs that will give a link back to your site. Whenever I comment on blogs the average each of them delivers me is 10 visitors. Seems not enough? You can just comment on 100 blogs and that will turn into 1000.

Mass Mailing

There are people that worked hard to collect Emails from people that signed up for their lists. I usually go and pay someone to send them an email. Those lists have thousands of emails and with one click of a button they will be sent with your url and blog review. People will probably open their inboxes, read their email and visit your site.

Entrecard

A hell of a lot worth website to visit and sign up. Go to entrecard.com and sign up. You should have a cool 125 banner to sign up. Then the traffic will roll in from members that are dropping their cards and you can also do that on their blogs.

Forums

One of the best ways to target traffic is by using forum signatures. There are forums in your niche and members of those forums are probably interested in the content of the niche. That means that it’s full of targeted traffic! Go for it. Be useful to members, post often and traffic will follow.

Exchanges

Traffic exchange sites are sites where people go to get traffic and visit other people’s websites, in exchange they get traffic to their site from other members. This is not a crowd of targeted traffic like forum traffic but it definitely works.

Reviews

Being reviewed from other blogs in the same niche as mine is great. The subscribers of the blog that reviewed mine will probably visit my blog as they subscribed to a blog in the niche in hope that they will find more information. Reviews can be a bit pricy on bigger blogs but there are pay per review networks where you can find good blogs to get reviewed. This is a paid option to be considered.

Tell all your msn buddies

If you have a bigger list of people on msn then you should consider sending them a message including your site url but making sure that they don’t block you or take it as spam.

Social Bookmark Sites

Social bookmark sites mean a float of traffic for your site! Digg.com currently ranks in the top 100. Frontpage: MASSIVE traffic. Here’s how you can get to the frontpage but consider you can get banned:

  1. Mail your msn buddies.
  2. Contact and pay around $50 some of the top diggers to send a message to their buddies from their profiles because they have thousands and will surely get you on the frontpage.
  3. Make the article interesting, eye-catchy and attractive. Nobody wants to read boring articles and not even vote for them.
  4. Ask for help at your favorite forum. Most of the guys have a digg account and it shouldn’t be tough to get them to give you a dugg.
  5. Create accounts yourself. Make around 50 accounts with different gmail addresses and digg your story. Also remember to change your ip by using proxies unless you want to get caught. Keep in mind that this is extreme blackhat and may get you in trouble but it surely works.

Social network traffic

Another great way to get traffic is social networks. If you have a profile on myspace dot com and have some friends mention your url at the about me part. Most of the friends will visit it.

Pay internet cafes

You can go to an internet café with $60 in your hand and pay the owner to make your page the homepage of all computers. Imagine how many loads of browsers daily does an internet cafe has?! They will all see your website and you’ll make money ;)

Hold a contest, give away stuff.

Holding a contest will kick start your new blog. Many bloggers will be linking and posting about it on their blogs. Their readers will visit and join. Then they’ll too write a post. Blog contests are viral pretty much all the time. Just make sure you give the right gift. For example a free domain registration including hosting and wordpress… or a new apple toy like iphone.

SEO Your Blog

There’s an article on how to SEO your blog on blogging empire. It’s important if you want free targeted traffic to rank #1 for search keywords.

Directories

Submit your blog to directories. 20 won’t do the trick. For as cheap as $10 you can get around 300 directory submissions from a worker on dp or freelancing sites. It will improve backlinks and more visitors will follow.

Video Marketing

Go ahead and upload your video to other video sharing sites including your copyright. Also leave a site url in the description. Videos get high rankings in search engines and take minutes until they hit the #1 spot. That means traffic for your blog. There are tools to make your video famous too.

Adwords

The old and good way of getting targeted traffic. If you consider spending a little off your budget then adwords is the right one to go. Your ads will appear all over the net on web pages related to your one very cheap. You can get vouchers as little as $3 for a $50 voucher. Also there shouldn’t be bidding on keywords like “date”, instead “dating online free signup” unless you want to spend everything you got on your credit card. Adwords is the right solution and everyone having a minisite or an affiliate should use this way. http://adwords.google.com

Build Mailing Lists

There are lots of different ways to get an email from someone. Than you can just email all those emails you collected with your new product details. I usually go to aweber.com pay a little to get my camping ready, give away something in exchange of an email in my squeeze page and I get the users email. There are a lot of blogs promoting clickbank products. If you have emails lists you’ll be able to send your affiliate link to lots of users that signed up for something. If you do sell on your blog, it’s important when selling to get the buyers email at the thank you page because you know he bought your product and may be interested in buying other products. You can’t be that sure if you are giving away stuff.

Use Article Marketing

For this matter you’ll need articles. I’d say around 10 to 30. It’s important for them to be useful. For the ones that are not so good at writing I’d suggest you visit a freelancing site or dp where you’ll find cheap content writers. Then find around 10 popular ezine sites like ezinearticles.com where you can submit them all. In the resource box include your blog url and a little bit about yourself. Submit all the articles to 10 directories. If they get approved you’ll see natural free traffic. It works awesome.

Through the days I’ve been blogging I understood how easy it was to make money with a blog. It can be a blog in any kind of niche you just have to do the right thing. And to do the right thing… follow my advice!

Create Your Own “Advertise” Page
Have you seen those “advertise” pages on popular blogs? That is where they have placed the prices for advertising on their blogs. The price is based on many factors such as traffic, how targeted it is, location, RSS subscribers… Why not have your own? If you followed my advice for bringing in traffic from the tips/tricks section you’d of probably got a few thousand visitors in the first few days. Over the next day you could make your own advertise page. You’ll then be emailed by advertisers that are interested in advertising. This method of generating revenue is one of the easiest ones – “private sales”.

Monetize With Adsense

If you don’t have an adsense account visit google.com/adsense to get one. Monetize everything with adsense but do not brake their rules or you’ll get banned. There are many ways you can monetize your blog for adsense to have a higher click rate. I’d say first of all you’ll need a theme that’s pretty much optimized for adsense. To find a list of nice adsense optimized themes check this out. Rotate ads, tweak colors until you don’t find the killer combination to boost your earnings.

Sell Links

If your blog has some pagerank why not turn that into a real cash machine? Head over text-link-ads.com and submit it. You’ll probably get accepted. Then you’ll earn money. You can sell links on other places too. For example the digitalpoint forum. Just target the right place and cash will follow… if you have pagerank ;)

Adbrite

This company is similar to google. There is nothing much different but they both work. If adsense gets your banned, adbrate is gonna save you.

Private Membership

It’s interesting though. You paid to join this membership site. Why wouldn’t you start your own membership site INSIDE your blog? Just have a page setup about it and throw in some good articles and downloads. Make the words conversing and it can turn viral. If you built trust already with the people on your blog and they know that they can expect only high quality content from you, they won’t even read the sales latter. They’ll make a purchase. But it won’t be only 1. If it’s real good the ones that purchased will tell their friends too, and those will their their friends too… it can turn into a real viral business.

Clickbank

Go to clickbank.com and sign up. You will then gain access to thousands of high quality products that you can be promoting very soon for commissions. After you have your own link to promote why not do a review of the product you are trying to promote? Don’t be really honest or you can throw away potential buyers. Give them the good sides of the product like the quality. Anyway most of the clickbank’s products are high quality so you shouldn’t worry about negative comments. Then post your affiliate link. And check your account on daily basics.

CPA

Cpa states for cost per action. You are getting paid to refer people to do an action like submitting zip codes… the best CPA Company by what I’ve used is maxbounty.com
They have great support. After you get the link you are going to promote you can post a banner or a text link. Or even blog post about the site. It’s important to make them take action. And BAM you earn money!

Following these easy methods you’ll be able to make hundreds every month. There’s nothing much to learn. Create an advertise page, monetize via adsense and TLA along CPA and do some promotion with clickbank. Don’t just go and buy the next guru “how to make a million dollars with a blog” product. They’ll mention the same as above just more detailed. But you got the point right? There’s no need for further explanation. It’s about taking action. So take action… NOW

If you don’t SEO optimize your blog from the biggining you may miss the chance and lose targeted traffic that costs nothing you can receive from search engines. SEOing your blog is very important so that in future you have targeted traffic coming from search engines while you don’t need to pay a dime for it! The first steps to optimizing are easy. I also assume you have a blog running on wordpress.

All In One SEO Pack Plugin

This plugin is what I can say GOLD for wordpress blogs. It will change the title so that search engines read it easily and will give you higher rankings. Also it allows a feature where you can SEO every single post of your blog. The best thing is that All In One SEO Pack is all free and you can download it from http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/

Create a robots.txt

Web Robots (also known as Web Wanderers, Crawlers, or Spiders), are programs that traverse the Web automatically. Search engines such as Google use them to index the web content, spammers use them to scan for email addresses, and they have many other uses. Learn everything about it at http://www.robotstxt.org/ It’ll help you in rankings.

Update Permalinks.

SE’s will know better about what you are writing if they notice yourdomain.com/post-title than yourdomain.com/1254 Do you agree? There’s an option in wordpress to edit permalinks. Don’t ever let them be numbers.

Use a sitemap

You could use google sitemap creator. It’ll be easier for search engines to index all the pages of your website which will bring in some more traffic. It won’t take long to setup a simple sitemap. Web users also look for them to easily read your content ;)

Backlinks

70% of the game is backlinks. You’ll need them to rank for special keywords. But notice that you’ll also need them linked with the right anchor text. Don’t just use the url. Ask the ones that link to your site to include keywords.

SEO Your Titles

It’ll be easier for google if you provide them keywords in the title itself. It’s better to Use “Keyword | Title With Keywords than, “Welcome to Our Site”.

The <h1> and <b> tags

Place <h1> tags at the top of the page. Also use <b> tags to bold text where your keywords are in posts. If you don’t know html just don’t touch anything.
Apply all these! …Unless you want to be the latest in the row for the keyword you are trying to rank :)

Yes, it’s true. You can sell your blog for 10 times the amount you earned into the last month. Means if you spent 10 minutes for your blog I am guessing you made $10 with it. Do you know that a blog that made $10 is worth $100? And that a blog that made $100 is worth $1000? And so on… It’s where blog flipping comes in mind.
There are people trying to sell you methods to “effectively” sell your blog. Well, there is no such thing. Either you sell it or not. What we are trying to archive here is to sell it. Not stay with what we made using it. We want 10 times that amount. So how do we do it?

The first step is to think like buyers. Where do hungry buyers go? They usually end up on marketplaces like the dp forums or sitepoint. That is where we should setup the blog. Before starting to sell it you should make sure that it has a pretty decent design and quality content. The next step is to make sure where you want to sell it. There are 2 options available.

1st option: Digitalpoint Forums - Free
The dp forums is a nice place to sell a site or blog but I won’t suggest it for making a neat sale. You can get around $200 maximum there for a blog. That is why the second suggestion sounds better.

2nd option: Sitepoint Marketplace
One of the greatest ones. I’ve seen sites go for more than half a million bucks there. But it isn’t free. The fee is $20-40 I think. It depends on the category you place the blog into.

Whatever your choice is make it right. I am telling you from my personal experience as I’ve spent hours into those places flipping websites. It’s your choice.

Whatever you have chosen you’ll need a good sales latter to get bids. The main reason why you are there is to sell the blog. You function there is to converse people to buy your blog. Tell them why should they buy it… why is it worth investing… why is it profitable. Also post screenshots of traffic and earnings. A good sales latter makes it all. If you don’t know how to write it good check out other auctions that ended up as “Sold”. Copy the text and change with your own. It’s called “ripping off”. But it’s better to do that than just throw money and not get any bids.

And the last step is to finish the sale. After you got the bids make sure everything ends up well. Use a secure service like escrow so you won’t end up with chargebacks. I would never ever suggest using paypal for larger transactions. They’ll probably freeze your account. Damn, I remember how many times I ended up with a limited account after I sold a site for good money. Make sure you use escrow so that the buyer feels secure too.

And last, offer the buyer to move the blog yourself. Not knowing how to do it? This one makes it easy - http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress

I wish you luck when selling your blog!

Wordpress is the most famous and the best blogging software you can choose. Now, there are 2 ways to install wordpress.

  1. Manually by downloading it and then using ftp.
  2. Fantastico

The first step can be harder and non-understandable for newbies. And there are a lot of newbies around. So we will go for the easier installation method – fantastico for the sake of all the newbies on BloggingKingdom. So you better make sure your host has fantastico ;) It won’t take a minute before your wordpress blog is up and running.

First of all head over your cpanel. You’ll see a screen like this:

cpanel

Scroll down and click on “fantastico” under “software / services”:

fantastico

You’ll now be taken to the fantastico page. Click “wordpress”:

wpinstall_clip_image002

You will then be taken to the wordpress installation page. Click on the link that says “New Installation”. You are on this page now:

wpinstall_clip_image002_0000Click on “Install wordpress”. You’ll need some more information for step 2 but it’s a piece of cake. Step 3 is important because you’ll need to enter your email where the report from the install will be sent in a matter of seconds.

Enjoy your new wordpress blog!

As a blogger you are probably wondering should you post often or just calm down and let the readers read the blog first?! Let’s keep this as short as possible. You need to blog as often as… it all depends on the niche you are in. If you are reporting about a travel company and write a 1000 word article than I’d post ever 3 days. If for example you run a video blog where you just copy and paste code, well I’d post well over 30 posts per day. It all depends on the niche. Just see what “size” your articles are and you’ll understand how often you need to post.

Choosing the right keywords is crucial for your traffic that comes from search engines. It’s very important because when you have a blog you’ll need targeted traffic. And targeted traffic means that the people are interested in your site. The very interesting thing about blogs is that they get very high rankings in search engines.

Let’s do a little analytics:

People search. They search a keyword. The search engine generates the pages and the visitor visits them. Now, what you want is that your blog be one of those generated pages by the search engine so that you get a visitor that’s interesting in reading your blog. Search engine traffic is the best one possible, because it’s free and the visitors are targeted. The step when you optimize your site to have high rankings in search engines is called “search engine optimization” or SEO. SEO is done after you have chosen the right keywords. Now, we are not going to get into SEO. We’ll first choose keywords for your blog that are not so competitive but searched well, so that you can easily SEO your site and get high rankings for the keywords after.

First of all, we’ll need a source to find out how many times a keyword is searched. We will use the Adwords keyword tool. It’s a tool by google which shows how many times a keyword is searched only on google.com

We are going to be heading off to https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal At this point I’m gonna make an example. Let’s say I know about dieting and I can write content about it. I’ll probably choose the dieting niche. The worst thing a plenty of newbies do is that they jump into very highly competitive niches. You shouldn’t do it when starting out or you’ll say “bye bye” to the #1 page. So, let’s continue my story… I’m on the google adwords tool page. I’ll first enter the keyword, then fill out the anti spam box and click the button called “Get keyword ideas”. This is what google generated for me:

dietYou notice a huge list of keywords google generated. The worst thing you can possibly do is to start optimizing your site for the ones searched millions of times monthly like “diet”, “diets”. On the other side you see the “advertiser competition” column. That shows that almost all of those keywords are in maximum competition. You shouldn’t get into any of them. Search for lower competition. I’d say the ones that have around 6000-15.000 searches monthly. You’ll have a fair chance of ranking good there. The rest can be just a dream, unless you spend years of link building and money. When I search keywords I open up notepad. Then I write around 20 ones that look good. After that I pick a few that I’ll be optimizing my blog in future. It’s now time for you to start searching about your keyword. Head over https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal and find the keyword that fits your blog mostly. Just don’t go for “diet” first ;) That’s what it takes for you to get the most relevant keywords for your blog.
